The ISSA Elite Trainer credential is awarded to accomplished ISSA Certified Trainers who have proven their competence in personal training and developed expertise in two additional areas of specialization. With scientific backing and practical application in the areas clients need help with the most, this credential proves that extensive education equals results.

As an ISSA student working towards my certification in corrective exercise, I can perform movement assessments, make referrals to medical professionals when necessary, and incorporate appropriate strategies into your training program to help you correct movement dysfunctions and muscle imbalances. Ultimately, this will lead to improved physical performance and reduced physical pain.
As a nutritionist, I have a burning passion for improving the quality of my clients lives outside the scope of a gym. Through my understanding of how the body Best utilizes the food we consume for fuel, muscle development, and fat loss I have the ability to help my clients reach their goals and see desired results.
Through this certification I have gained a better understanding of the science behind food, especially that of the western American diet, as well as have been able to further develop my foundational understanding of the psychological aspects of behavior change. I firmly believe that you are what you eat and food is fuel, so understanding how to use the food we consume and pairing it with positive and beneficial psychological strategies is a recipe for success. I believe I can make a lasting difference and my clients' lives through mastering the art of creating a personalized nutrition and a workout programs specific to my clients' needs.

This certification is academically oriented and designed to provide me with current research and evidence that build a solid foundation of nutritional psychology which develops my understanding of certain concepts, languages, and methods of the diet-mental health relationship.
